A recent realtor.com article shows that the interest in suburban properties is leading the interest in city homes. Tracking online search activity, viewing of zip codes in suburbia grew about 13 percent in May—doubling the pace of urban areas.
Moving to the suburbs is nothing new, but after living a shelter-in-place lifestyle, many workers have been given more flexibility to work remotely and desire extra space that the suburbs offer.
